Battery replacement
All our current lasers use a standard CR2 3V battery which can be found online & should also be available at most Battery stores, hardware stores, some chemists & some Supermarkets.
Low battery displayed
Replace battery to see if that is the cause of the warning
If a new battery doesn’t fix the issue, the software/pcb in the unit may be at fault and the unit will need to be assessed, please email support@sureshotgps.com with your name, serial number of the unit and return address details to create a RA number (Return Authorisation number).
Distances incorrect/ Laser not picking up correct distance
Make sure unit is set to correct meterage = yards or metres.
Also when targeting a flag/pin, the best the Mode is set to Pin Loc mode (flag icon) so the unit can target and display the distance to the closest target, refer to the User Manual for your model on how to set up unit correctly to Pin Loc mode.
Possibly the unit is set to Scan Mode, hence a little movement can display incorrect yardage.
MODE FYI - There are 3 modes selected via the mode button > Blank, Scan & Pin Loc (flag)
Blank = Default, point and shoot, requires steadiness.
Scan (S displayed) = Scan feature displays a continuous update of distances to various targets across a panoramic area. To use the Scan feature, press the Power Button once, crosshairs will appear on screen. Pan across the target area. Once complete, press the Power Button again and the crosshairs will disappear and the laser will stop scanning.
Pin Loc (Flag displayed) = Pin Loc Mode with Priority Loc – PINLOC technology ensures even the smallest target is locked On from the longest possible distance. This is important for delivering pinpoint accuracy. This feature is automatically delivered when the Power Button is depressed quickly once.
The Zoom, PINLOC 5000/6000 units instinctively lock onto the nearest target, which may be the smallest among multiple objects in the background giving you confidence you have the correct distance every time. Priority Loc intelligence delivers the first and closest target by scanning the area and displaying only the nearest distance. This feature automatically works by pressing the Power button once.
If the above fails, the unit will need to assessed, please email support@sureshotgps.com with your name, serial number of the unit and return address details to create a RA number (Return Authorisation number).
Otherwise please refer to user manual, section - Distances View
Or, select Support on the top of the page > then User Manuals > Sureshot > then your model
Unit not turning on, even with new battery fitted

If the unit fails to operate/turn on with new batteries, the unit will need to assessed, please email support@sureshotgps.com with your name, serial number of the unit and return address details to create a RA number (Return Authorisation number).
Registration/Connecting via Bluetooth
Tip – on occasions it may take a few attempts to connect the Axis to the Mobile. Turning off the Bluetooth on the phone and Axis and then turning it back on can help. Also closing the App and restarting can help.
If your unit is already registered, you will have setup a login and password to Login. Also, you can login in as a Guest by using the unit’s serial number to update software and courses. (Guest is sometimes easier and can be done via any smart phone)
Or, select Support on the top of the page > then User Manuals > Sureshot > then your model
Blank screen after charging/not turning on
Possibly the charging clip was not attached correctly, hence the unit did not charge successfully, please recheck connection and try recharging to verify.
Also, check back of the watch, charging terminals for debris/dirt etc which can affect charging, clean out with small pin so charger connects successfully, also check charger clip for dirt/debris.
If the unit still fails to charge, the unit will need to be returned for assessment to check the charger & Axis unit is working correctly, please email support@sureshotgps.com with your name, serial number of the unit and return address details to create a RA number (Return Authorisation number).
Course not appearing in list when at course

If course is still incorrect after update, please request a course update via the App, refer to REPORT MAPPING ISSUE in the user manual on how to submit changes/updates to have the course remapped/updated.
Refer to user manual, section - Report Mapping Issue
Or, select Support on the top of the page > then User Manuals > Sureshot > then your model
Incorrect Time Display
We recommend that the units time be set by GPS, refer customer to user manual for instructions – section Setting The Time.
As for the time on the Axis, it will not retain the time when it is turned off. To maintain the time, it is best to leave the unit turned on between rounds, otherwise you will need to connect to a gps signal to reset the correct time.
Time setting, for states with Daylight Saving, the unit will require the Daylight option set to on or off. (default is set to Auto, but it won’t adjust correctly to daylight saving time)
Or, select Support on the top of the page > then User Manuals > Sureshot > then your model

If I am not using my buggy/ battery what should I do?
Lithium ion batteries (Li-ion) should not be stored for long periods of time, either uncharged or fully charged. The best storage method is to store them at a low temperature, not below 0°C, at 40-50% capacity. Storage at 5°C to 10°C is ideal. Since lithium batteries self-discharge, it is recommended that they must be recharged and used again until drained to 40-50%, every 6 months.

Why is there only two battery bars displaying on my battery indicator when fully charged?
The latest software has two bars to indicate battery level. The top bar (blue) and the bottom bar (red)
This is to provide a more accurate reading of the batteries level.
Lithium batteries do not behave in the same manner as SLA batteries.
SLA batteries will give an accurate reading using the four bar system when a lithium battery gives a more accurate reading using a two bar system.
The two bars are illuminated whilst the battery has between 25% and 100% capacity.
When the capacity drops to 25% then the bottom red bar is only illuminated. You will have roughly 30 minutes of play left.
When charging my remote, why is the left hand LED on the MGI navigator quad GYRO remote flashing not the right?
When your remote battery needs recharging the RIGHT LED will flash red.
When connected to the charger the LEFT LED will flash green. If battery is very low RIGHT LED will flash red before the LED on the LEFT will begin flashing green.
To check the level of battery life in your remote control connect buggy to power. Press a button on the remote to ensure connection with the buggy. The battery indicator will display remotes battery level on the top of the screen.
